Today's workout was super. I mentioned on my facebook page what music I listened for my workout and I will mention the 18 songs that played on my iPod. These are great dance-electronic and a few rock songs that periodically play over and over during my cardio session. Check them out by going on youtube, dowloading the website, then go to a website that switches youtube videos to mp3 files and you can download them to your mp3/iPod player.

1. Teenage Dream (Katy Perry)
2. Metro (System of a Down)
3. DJ had us falling in love (Usher)
4. If I had you (Adam Lambert)
5. Someone to love (Justin Bieber)
6. I like it (Enrique Iglesias)
7. Pick up the phone (Dragonette)
8. The longest road (Morgan Page)
9. Addiction (Medina)
10. Club can't handle me (Flo Rider feat. David Guetta)
11. Easy (Dragonette)
12. Sexy Bitch (David Ghetta feat. Akon)
13. Forward-Faint (Linkin Park)
14. Liar (Dragonette)
15. Memories (David Ghetta)
16. Swedish House Mafia
17. Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N' Roses)
18. Somewhere I belong (Linkin Park)

Some of them I skipped through and moved on to the faster, bass-ier songs.

Here's my workout tonight, no weight, just intervals and steady state to really wind myself for the night...need to drink some camomile tea to s-l-o-w down for the evening...

10 min easy run (0.98 miles)
8.5 mph at 2% incline--0.15 miles
2 minutes rest
9mph at 2% incline--0.15 miles

9.5 mph at 2% incline--0.16 miles

9.5 mph at 2% incline--0.15 miles

Total running time was 45 minutes with 15 minutes on Stairmaster after.

Some of the things that really motivate me to get my workout in, are dowloading new songs to listen to. I *REALLY* like my Much Music Dance 2011 album...there's a lot of great and awesome songs that are catchy and have good rhythm to run on the treadmill. I once had this conversation with a friend once: some music is really compatible for running on the treadmill. Some music is more suited to Stairmaster time and then there's heavy, angry metal, industrial or rock that's great for weights. I'm a music fanatic, but I don't know all songs, so if you have some favourite tunes for working out to, just let me know...PLEASE!

This weekend is the NPC Nationals, so I'm really rooting for Allison Moyer...she has great taste in music and I always like seeing what she listens to and I copy it from youtube to my iPod...a neat little free trick that saves you from iTunes spending! You can google that on the web and find the website that does it: youtube-mp3.org is a great website.
